Ayubia National Park is located in Abbottabad District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, 50km from Abbottabad and 75.4km from Islamabad. It was declared National Park in 1984. It covers a protected area of about 33 km2. It is a hill station, which is the best escape place in summer as well as in winter. It was named AYUBIA after Muhammad Ayub Khan, 2nd President of Pakistan. An average elevation of Ayubia is 8000 feet (2400 meters) above sea level. It gets covered under a blanket of snow in winters. And turns lush green in summers. It is a well-developed tourist spot which has Chair-lift, hiking tracks, parks, rest houses and much more…

Pipeline Track holds a historical significance, recently discovered Moto-tunnel enhanced its charm. Where Pipeline Track connects Nathiyal-Gali and Murree, it’s Pipeline, supplies Dunga-Gali water reserves to Ayubia. The pipeline also holds significant British military insignias. This track gives a mesmerizing view of nature.
We’ll meet at 6:30 a.m. at barrier #3. Then we’ll aboard and move for our destination at 6:40 a.m. We’ll arrive at Dunga-Gali in approx 3.5 hours.
All members will be guided about the Pipeline Track. We’ll start tracking to the pipeline track. Pipeline Track is 4km track from Donga-Gali to Ayubia and vice-versa. It’ll take about 1.5 hours to reach the other end. You could spend some time on the other side Ayubia. There is a tunnel called “Moto-tunnel” at the end of the track, you can visit the tunnel and will return to Donga-Gali for lunch.
Lunch will be served once all members will get together at Donga-Gali.
After the meal, we’ll get ready to move towards home at 5 p.m.
If everything goes well we’ll be at drop point 1-Islamabad at 8:00 p.m. and at drop point 2-Wah Cantt at 9 p.m. InshaALLAH.
